Os perigos da internet

Hoje é muito comum resolver todos os problemas, fazer compras, checar dados, fazer pesquisas, alugar e comprar imóveis.. tudo pela internet. A rede veio mesmo pra mudar nossa vida, nosso comportamento e nossas relações. Mas, como tudo na vida, a internet tem suas vantagens e desvantagens.

Todo mundo que tem a mínima intimidade com a rede se acha auto imune dos golpes e enroscadas cibernéticas. Não é bem assim! Gente bem instruída acaba se dando muito mal por distração, por ingenuidade ou, vamos admitir, porque os maldosos são muito bons em suas fraudes.

Abaixo vou relatar uma troca de emails entre uma pessoa que procurava apartamento e um suposto proprietário que tinha muita pressa em alugar seu apartamento. Vejam só e reparem na quantidade de informações que a pessoa fornece, na estória que ela cria pra justificar o preço e a pressa.. Ele só pecou na péssima gramática inglesa pra quem se diz gringo.

Suposto proprietário respondendo ao primeiro contato do interessado:

You can move in the apt in the same day when you receive the keys. The only problem is that I`m the only person who has the keys but I hope that we will find a solution.

O interessado passou em frente ao endereço fornecido e ele realmente existe. Porém, ao questionar ao porteiro se o tal Mauricio Turnner morava lá, ficou sabendo que essa pessoa nunca residiu ali, que não havia sequer apartamento vago no prédio e que outras centenas de pessoas já haviam procurado essa mesma informação. Como este é um anúncio recente, fica aqui o aviso!

Quando algo parecer bom demais, fora da realidade, desconfie. Porque na maioria das vezes você vai descobrir algo errado. Escondi o nome do site por achar que ele não tem que sofrer uma propaganda negativa por isso. Mas aqui também fica uma dica pra esses sites buscarem uma fórmula que possa tornar os anúncios mais confiáveis. E sobre o nome utilizado, Mauricio Turnner, provavelmente é fictício. Deve haver um verdadeiro Mauricio Turnner por aí, mas este aqui, é falso!
